- A No, Individuals
conducting business as a sales agent will not
need a real estate license.

be the fees associated with activation of my
time share license?
- A The cost of
the original time share license will be $175
payable to the Nevada Real Estate Division after
you have passed your licensing examination.

the test for licensure?
- A 50 Multiple
choice questions in which you must score a 75%
or better.
- Q How do I activate
my license once I have passed the examination?
- A In order to
activate the time share license you must associate
yourself or hang you license under a project
broker (the time share organization) and
then apply for the license with the state.

to wait months to get my license so I can practice?
- A No. Contrary
to Real Estate license applications, time share
applications are processed very quickly and
the state can often recognize the background
check completed by the project broker to make
the application process even quicker. Time share
applicants are often up and running within a
week.
- Q How much and
how will I be paid once I activate my license
and associate with a project broker?
- A Sales agents
are almost always paid a percentage of the selling
price of the time share. Some agents are paid
a flat fee per sale or representation. Percentages
of compensation usually range from 5% to 10%
of the sale. The average yearly income is reported
to be between $32,000 and over $110,000. (Depending
on the sales activity of the sales agent)
