What to Expect From Nevada Broker Pre-Licensing Courses
Have you attained your real estate license and are now thinking of becoming a broker? Before taking your first steps to advance your career, make sure you have a basic understanding of what to expect from the required courses to become a broker:
Broker Management
This course is designed to teach prospective real estate brokers to manage their own firm successfully. Some topics covered in this course include conducting a market analysis, recruiting and hiring staff, and effectively advertising your listings.
Appraisal Principles and Procedures
The appraisal course is intended to give practicing brokers a basic understanding of cost evaluations, important construction and environmental factors that can affect a property’s value, and other important appraisal processes.
Electives in Real Estate-Related Education
In addition to the required educational courses approved by the Real Estate Division, you will also need to complete 15 college credits in approved electives in topics such as finance, investment, and property management.
